Summit's Travel Club is Announced!

We are very excited to announce our fall and spring Travel Club. Travel Club is an excellent opportunity for your child to work on social skills, independence, and foster peer relationships. We travel both in the US and internationally and cater to youngsters ages 14-19. Our first excursion in November is a 4 day trip to Historic Philadelphia.

Our next destination will be over the Christmas-New Year holiday to Disney World! We will fly down on December 27 and spend 5 days exploring Disney, Epcot, Universal Studios and Sea World, and bring in the New Year at Disney World.

Our February school vacation takes us to London, beginning on February 20.  We spend seven days in this historic city and return on February 26. Some of the highlights include Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Windsor Castle, London Theater, and the British Museum. Summit travelers will also have the opportunity to meet up with some familiar faces, as we will have a Summit reunion with some of our Summit staff.

Our final trip before we start summer 2011 will be a Disney Magic Cruise. We will sail for 7 nights in the Western Caribbean, stopping at various places such as Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Castaway Island. We will set sail on April 16 and return on April 23.

Summit Camp provides a summer camp experience for boys and girls, ages 8-19, who have issues of attention. These may include Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD and/or ADHD), Asperger’s syndrome, verbal or non-verbal learning disabilities, and/or mild social or emotional concerns. Some of our campers may also have Tourette’s syndrome, O.C.D., and /or mild mood issues. Summit Travel works with older children, ages 15-19, who have similar issues.

You can find more details on our travel program by visiting the "Travel Club" area of our website or by clicking here.

We are extremely excited to kick off Travel Club 2010-2011 and we hope you are as well. See you soon on any one of our excursions!
